Indie Lee needed more flexibility and ease of use than their previous headless Magento 2 setup was providing. They wanted a platform that could be nimble and yet mature enough to handle their operational requirements.
Free State consulted on and actioned the re-platorming to Shopify Plus including migration of all data, developing a customized theme, and backend integrations with 3PL and accounting systems.
After leaving their old platform behind for Shopify Plus, Indie Lee has been able to take action on new ideas and opportunities quicker and with less development lift. Elements of the site content that previously took code updates were exposed to the team which has facilitated a more flexible and timely promotion calendar.
As part of the migration our team implemented functionality including unique content blocks, reviews, rewards, custom product sample promotions, ingredient library and others that were achieved though a combination of customized third party apps and bespoke functionality.
