Mad Decent wanted to refresh their website but was unsure whether to stay on their current CMS or move to a different platform. They desired a secure, stable platform that didn't require technical management.
Based on a consultation with the client, Free State recommended a re-platforming to Shopify. A customized theme was implemented to handle the client's static needs as well as position them for the addition of e-commerce in the future.
After leaving their old platform behind for Shopify, Mad Decent can now easily manage the content on its website without hosting, plugin or security headaches. When they're ready to add e-commerce, the site is ready too.
As part of the migration our team created unique content blocks, a bespoke artists page management system, a custom discography management system and a site background integrated with Three.js.
